The See of Ègara

A monumental complex unique in Europe

Founded in the middle of the fifth century, the See of Ègara allows visitors to travel in time back to the final days of Imperial Rome and the early centuries of Christianity.

The complex comprises three churches located right in the heart of the city of Terrassa, in the Parc de Vallparadís.  The See of Ègara features a cultural and visitor centre equipped with audiovisual materials explaining a journey through 15th centuries of history back to the earliest roots of Christianity and European art and culture.
